Bald Eagle!...And One Really Old Clam

First recess (10:15 am) we had a bald eagle fly right over the playground. The eagle looked like it was migrating south ahead of the cold front. Be sure to practice your spelling words for the final test tomorrow. We will have our math 4 Sight test tomorrow and we'll start a new story on Monday.

A 405 year old clam was brought up from 262 ft. deep off the coast of Iceland. Researchers counted 405 annual growth rings (just like a tree) to age the clam. It is now the worlds longest-lived animal!
