Persuasive Commercial
These two students did a great job putting this commercial together. Who doesn't want a Sanderson turkey call after watching this?

Getting Hooked on Good Books!
This is one of the greatest sights any teacher could hope for. Students picking up books and reading not because they were told, but because they are starting to find the magic written within these books.

Early Spring!!
Honey Grove Douglas brought a lot of smiles to his faithful followers!
On Lack Tuscarora knob on this magnificent Groundhog Day Eve, Eve, January 31st, 2014
Honey Grove Douglas, the seer of seers, the prognosticator of all prognosticators, weather expert extraordinaire was summoned from his burrow in the old red equipment barrel
After casting an appreciative glance towards his faithful followers. Honey Grove Douglas proclaimed...
"Many shadows have not been found, so Spring will quickly be around!"
Unlike that other groundhog Phil, Honey Grove Douglas is right 100% of the time!

Snow: by Sage Klauss
Snow whirling around
To and fro through town
Snow makes kids happy and glad
But hurricanes and thunderstorms make kids sad
Snow is made of cold, cold water
You don't want to make it hotter
If you go outside make sure you dress warm
And don't get caught up in a storm

1,000,000 Legos
1,000,000 Legos
by Kenton Woods
A Lego set with a million parts
To bring it home I needed 500 carts
I opened the pieces and parts with pride
Cut open the box that was 500 miles wide
I put the pieces on a table
They were so big I needed a stable
The parts were as big as the Great Salt Lake
To put them together I needed a rake
I put it together it was 500 feet high
Soon it was in the news everywhere world wide

ISS Video
Earlier this school year we were tracking the whereabouts of the International Space Station. Click on the link to check out times and locations for Satellite Flybys. Here are two very cool NASA videos aboard the ISS. The first video was taken over Canada and you can clearly see the aurora borealis, or northern lights. The second video was taken coming up the eastern United States. You can make out the major cities by the huge bright lights. Also the northern lights can be seen in the distance to the north. More information and videos can be found here.
